2. Which data we process

• Account data: first name, last name, email, optional company, encrypted password
• Learning data: course progress, quiz and exam results, issued certificates
• Payment data: via our payment service provider Stripe (we do not store card data)
• Technical data: server log files (IP address, time, page accessed)

3. Purpose of processing

Provision of the learning platform, delivery of courses and examinations, issuing and verification of certificates, payment processing, security and improvement of the offer.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We only disclose data to service providers that are necessary for operation:

• Stripe (payment processing)
• Anthropic / Claude API — for automatic assessment of exam answers. Only the answer texts needed for assessment are transmitted; do not enter secrets or particularly sensitive personal data of third parties there.
• Hosting providers (servers in Switzerland/EU)

Transfer abroad: Individual service providers (e.g. Anthropic, USA; Stripe) may process data outside Switzerland/EU. Transfers take place only where an adequate level of data protection exists or appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) have been agreed. For AI assessment, only the answer texts are transmitted without further profile data.

5. Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies (session/login). No tracking or advertising cookies are set.

6. Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and legal obligations. Certificate data remains stored for verification.

7. Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion and data portability. Please contact info@alpasana.ch.

8. Data security

Passwords are stored only in encrypted form (hash). Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.

9. Course ratings and course voices

We use your course rating (stars and comment) for quality assurance; it feeds anonymously into the course average. Publication under your name happens only if you have expressly consented — and you choose yourself whether your full name, your first name with an initial, or no name at all appears. As proof we store the time and the wording of the consent. You can withdraw it at any time and without giving a reason in your account; the voice then disappears from the website immediately. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of publication up to that point.
